Welcome to Mortalum, a world with a dark and mysterious past. Six hundred years ago, according to the the holy tablet of the high archon, the world was in chaos. A bitter war of epic proportions threatened to end all life. The Lich King and his armies swarmed across the world. But in our darkest hour, the mortal god ascended from amongst his people. Uniting the many races of the land under one banner. Ever since, the kingdom continues to guard against the ever present threat of war. Many centuries later and the realm finds itself on the edge of civil war. A conflict that threatens to destroy what little unity remains. Bandits threaten travelers on the road, piracy consumes the seas and monsters infest the land. But a darker threat arises in secret, a shadow beneath us all.
Aurea, a land crafted so delicately and dutifully by her Gods, has thrived for over a millennia with only the slightest bit of strife. Civilizations blossomed, harvests cultivated, and stories of heroes were told to any who would listen. And yet, as the seasons seem to pass, strife has taken hold. Prayers go unanswered, ailments unhealed. The heart of Fairdenn, Aurea’s trading continent, has fallen victim to the assaults of outlaws and bandits harassing its busiest routes, and the curious seasonal bonfires that keep appearing seem to coincide with the cities’ populace going missing. Magic, gifted freely, has gone without a price being paid. While there are those that preach this terror from the rooftops, it seems that Aurea has been abandoned by her creators. What will happen to this land? Only time can tell.

The decades-long Peloponnesian war is over and Sparta reigns supreme. Now a new monarchy in Attica must pick up the broken pieces of the war-torn peninsula and shape it to the future. But just because the war is over doesn’t mean that battles on the home front do not rage on. Tyranny and Democracy war for supremacy in Athens while Sparta contends with helots and pride from within.
Old school type of roleplay that is play by post, there can be live play as well if that is desired via Discord (which I despise, lol, but will do it.) . It is medieval fantasy play about a realm named Mirador and all the places and faces that can happen in a realm. To be honest I am looking for a partner to write with, or a small group who is willing to play different characters.
